Transworld presents… | Clyde Singleton vs. Matt Fink

as seen on skateboarding.com
Ok.. imma make this short, and sweet.. for those of you who dont know. Representing Element, DVS Shoe Co., Red Bull & Ruin Skateshop, this is Matt Fink. All bullsh!t aside. This is not only one of the most talented cats I’ve ever seen on a skateboard. But, he’s also hands down- THE most talented skater I’ve seen come out of Jacksonville, since the turn of the century. With that said. I’m more than proud to introduce this cat to the skateboard world.. And oh yeah.. This ain’t the first, or last time you gonna see this cat.. know why? because this dude has so much piFF on deck, we already working on his pt.2 that’ll be dropping later this week.. Yeah.. I said it. Yeah. We gonna be the first to do it.. You mad, Scooby? Deal with it. I’m saying. This Jacksonville. We even got my man Paten Locke to supply his newest track, for this one. Yeah. Fink. Jolli. Paten. Fukk it- Jacksonville, Fl. Atlanta, Ga. Yall gone head, and stand the fukk up.. Its pretty much, our time to shine.. Jeah!—Clyde Singleton

Transworld | Clyde Singleton presents: Go Skate Day pt.2 Bangers for Bucks

as seen on skateboarding.com

On Day 2 here in Jacksonville (yeah, told y’all we did it big), we held 3 “Bangers For Bucks” events at our local skateparks. Kona skatepark, Red Bull, and BusStop Mag all donated hundreds of dollars in cash prizes, and products. The first stop was AB Park, out in Neptune beach. The huge 9-foot quarter-pipe with pool coping over the doorway was where it all went down and Joe Marrera, Mike “Darkness” Barnes, Longboard Nate, Aaron Muellen, and local Atlantic Beach ripper Seth Dupuis, all came through and handled their business. After that, we all headed over to Jacksonville’s Ed Austin Park and the same cast from AB, along with Bong Gause, Spencer Lau, Jon Morrissey, Will Lawhorn, Jason Colone and few others all did their thing on the Maitland Brick quarter. And not to be left out, Max Barton came through with a banging wallie 360 late shove-it over the Jersey barrier to end the contests. Before we left, we ended the day at Kona, with a contest down the big 4/hubba and a BBQ. Pretty much everyone came through, but most notably my man Joey Correy literally stepped outta his truck, no strectching, no warming up, nothing, and banged out five sick ass tricks within 10 tries down the hubba. All in all good times, good skating, and furthermore, a weekend of unity amongst all the skaters here in the ‘Ville. I’d like to take this time to thank Martin Ramos, Ryan King, Norm Stovall, Maxx McInerey, DJ Triclops, my girlfriend and all the parents and skaters who came out and supported to make the weekend happen. Y’all should all give yourselves a round of applause. Jeah!

Transworld | Clyde Singleton presents: Go Skate Day pt.1 Kona Skatepark Fantasy Cup

as seen on skateboarding.com

Martin Ramos and Kona Skatepark (the oldest standing skateboard park in North America) here in Jacksonville, Florida decided to up the ante this year, and be the first city in North America to ring in Go Skateboarding Day with a $5000 best trick(s) team competition that was held on Saturday night, with the finals kicking in exactly at midnight to officially ring in the festivities. Tons of skaters from all over the East showed up, and standouts were Timmy Knuth and his team. The Element boys (George Evans, Matt Fink, and Jimmy Lannon), and the 5Boro team came into town, with heavy hitter Chris Blake (nollie nosebluntslide), and literally shut sh!t DOWN. In the end, team Element took home first place, but props to all teams and skaters who participated. Also, I’d like to thank the fine women of Hooters, Ryan King, Norm Stovall, Tony Reddington, Ryan Kellum, and the East Center crew and a big shout out to Martin Ramos, the employees and friends of Kona Skatepark for all the hard work they put into making this event happen. Lets go!—Clyde Singleton
